On ‘Telazar', Brazilian duo Anonimat joins George X for a main-room production that nods to old-school progressive sounds. Growling synths cut through the dense, driving bass, while those same questioning pads drift weightlessly above. George’s music is both introspective and expansive, tracing a path from his small-town roots in Xanthi to collaborations with the likes of Roy Rosenfeld and Behrouz. Subtle yet emotionally rich, his tracks have caught the ears of global tastemakers, earning support from John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Lee Burridge, and many more.

On this Balance Selections mix, the Greek producer proves he’s just as skilled behind the decks as he is in the studio. Featuring tracks from Volen Sentir, Hermanez, and a healthy dose of his own productions, this is 60 minutes of high-grade progressive dance music.

This set was created in the first days of December at a magical place near the river ''Nestos'' of my hometown.

I was surrounded from friends , pure vibes, positive energy, smiles ,and happy faces ,without phones , photos or videos! 
So, I decided to connect my device and hit the record button!  

It was a time that you don't need to worry about anything , only to play music, enjoy the moment and dance!

George was born in the city of Xanthi, Greece but currently lives in Athens.

From his early years he showed interest in music, which came natural considering the cultural growth and love of the arts that surrounds his birthplace.

He draws inspiration by everyday scenes and his tracks reveal a man with an artistic ear and view of life. He started as a DJ from the early age 14 and became quite successful, starting from Xanthi and moving downwards the country.

He has worked with some well-known producers-DJ’s such as: Roy Rosenfeld, Behrouz, Sabb and more.

Some of his hit releases come from known labels such as Do not Sit/Tale & Tone / Souksonic/ Balance Series /The Soundgarden/Get Weird and more.

His tracks received support by globally renounced DJ’s and producers. Some of them are John Digweed,Hernan Cattaneo,Nick Warren,Darin Epsilon,Lee Burridge, Roy Rosenfeld ,Lost Desert,Audiofly,DAVI,Armen Miran,Newman,Death On The Balcony,Kevin Di Serna and more.
