Sel sur les lèvres est un album francophone raffiné, enregistré au printemps 2025 à Berlin. Il incarne une fusion subtile entre l’élégance intemporelle du smooth jazz et l’énergie contemporaine de la pop moderne. Chaque titre de cet opus offre une ambiance singulière, oscillant entre sensualité feutrée et éclats mélodiques lumineux, révélant un univers sonore riche et profondément émotionnel.

La voix est celle de Lucy, un modèle AI., à la fois douce, expressive et intensément nuancée, guide l’auditeur à travers des paysages musicaux intimes, parfois nostalgiques, parfois résolument modernes. Elle insuffle à chaque morceau une chaleur et une sincérité rares, rendant chaque interprétation authentique et profondément touchante.

La composition musicale, signée par Gerhard, est d’une grande finesse. Ses harmonies sophistiquées, ses rythmes subtils et ses arrangements soigneusement ciselés témoignent d’un savoir-faire accompli et d’une sensibilité artistique remarquable. Georgia van Etten is a soul-blues songstress based in London, originally hailing from Melbourne, Australia. Her refreshing creativity and rich vocal tones have wowed audiences across the globe.

Since moving to London, Georgia has worked hard to develop a unique sound, performing her original music at top venues such as 606 Jazz Club, The Hideaway and Pizza Express Jazz Club. She guests regularly with internationally renowned trumpeter Quentin Collins and has performed with soul legends like Omar and Earl Thomas, playing at Ronnie Scotts and Ealing Blues Festival. In 2016 she also headlined Europe's largest smooth jazz festival 'Stompin' On The Quomps' with band Lola's Day Off.

Georgia has worked extensively with Australian music producer Alice Ivy, touring with her through the UK and Germany in 2015 and can be heard on Alice Ivy's latest releases 'Touch' and 'Almost Here' that have had much success on Australian Radio and international music forums.

Georgia spent her younger years focussing on classical voice training, starring in major theatre productions whilst at home being spoon fed country and blues music. At age 14, Georgia was accepted into soul band ‘Sweethearts,’ a 25-piece all girl band that over a number of years saw her gigging at top festivals around Australia, and gracing European stages including Montreux Jazz Festival (Switz), Jazz à Vienne (France) and Porretta Soul Festival (Italy). This sparked van Etten’s love affair with soul music.   

Throughout her late teens, Georgia studied jazz theory and composition endeavouring to build on her songwriting skills. Performing and writing under her own name, she fused this learning with her roots in blues music to create an old southern soul sound reminiscent of Otis Redding, Etta James, Ray Charles and the like. Working as a full time musician and vocal teacher, van Etten never ceased to prove her versatility guesting with countless bands, including successful indie group King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.   

Georgia is an independent artist and hopes to release video and audio footage of her original works in the coming months. Stay tuned!
