BELLSAINT - Bang Bang (Remember My Name)

I must admit I was never much of a fan of Kate Bush's original Running up that hill, I always preferred the Placebo version. Running up that hill is probably one of the most covered songs in the history of pop music and it is also one of the most used on television.

Last week I heard it on Warehouse 13, one of my guilty pleasure shows, where it was used in the heartbreaking finale. The song is a perfect choice and I don't think I was the only one to have tears in their eyes...

However, it was not the Placebo version they used. So I did some digging and it turns out this version was done by a band called Track and Field. Eddie McClintock and Allision Scagliotti (Pete and Claudia on Warehouse 13) twittered yesterday that the song is now available on iTunes. Unfortunately it's only on iTunes US, so you either need an american credit card and address or a giftcard (you can buy those on ebay). Or you just have to wait for the song to be released in your part of the world.

Anyway, I haven't found anything else on that band Track and Field and I'm under the impression that it's not an actual band but rather a project put together by NBCUniversal.
