This first Split EP from Forest and GAUSS represents their take on modern trance music. Each track, while belonging to a specific sub-genre, shares a distinct primitive and organic touch. From heady and menacing synths to tribal and movement-inducing percussion, each composition is crafted to convey both emotions and the urge to move.

Venomous Dub is a versatile track blending warm undertones and fluttering swampy sounds with old riddim vocals.

In keeping with the organic minimalism that defines Geosmine's visual identity, Arroyo designed an artwork incorporating Pre-Columbian and Gothic art influences, centered around reptile figures.

More French Fries is a 15-track compilation bringing together 18 producers from all over France – from Paris to Marseille, including Lyon, Strasbourg, or Toulouse – all part of a generation that endeavours to shape the sound of tomorrow. This various artists compilation is the 10th release on our label, and we imagined it as a celebration of our scene’s diversity, a unifying mix that draws links between scenes, cities, and sensibilities.

This genre-blending selection, that stays true to Dürüm Records’ adventurous identity, in which deep textures weave connections between each track, serves up a tasty mix of downtempo hybrids, progressive flights, club-oriented sounds, and broken rhythms.

GAUSS - Chronic Delusion

Amulets curates a selection of forward-thinking electronic producers from around the world, weaving a sonic tapestry of intricate textures, hypnotic rhythms, and spectral melodies. Each piece serves as a talisman—charged with motion, memory, and transformation—offering glimpses into distinct yet interconnected soundscapes.

Dubbed-out echoes dissolve into weightless ambience, while fractal percussion patterns fold into polyrhythmic momentum. Pulsing low-end frequencies tether celestial synth work, evoking a liminal space between the organic and the artificial, the subconscious and the ecstatic.

Across its 10 tracks, the compilation unfolds with shifting tempos and oscillating moods, tracing the contours of deep introspection and kinetic urgency. Amulets is an invocation—a ritual of sound, wrapped in mystery, waiting to be unlocked.
