AGILITÄT - Empathy EP (CLIPS)

New songs by Medici Daughter for Geotact, recorded in 2021.

Each of the release’s three tracks explores a particular style of electronic music. Opener “Dolly” focuses on jungle, mixing folkish percussion and pastoral soundscapes. “Scammer”, meanwhile, pushes 2-step garage motifs into grotesque hypertrophy.

The release follows Medici Daughter’s debut EP, comprising seven tracks largely recorded on GarageBand, also issued in 2022. The self-titled work received praise from The Quietus and Loraine James, as well as airtime on NTS.
