Every moment is of a unique beauty when keeping our eyes and ears wide open. Finally after almost four years, a new liveset is uploaded from the incredible montsomnia festival in switzerland. After having flattened some curves of the automation, Marcel (you can call him the second half of Geplantes Nichtstun) did some mastering adjustment to optimize the 90 minutes for your speakers or earphones. Originally played on function one, during some lovely rainless moments with even decent sunrays. Enjoy!

UIQ label head and Hyperdub affiliate, Lee Gamble, is renowned for his unpredictable, yet consistently danceable DJ sets which promise to take listeners on a rapid-fire journey through genre and tempo.

His contribution to our Crack Mix series does not stray from this expectation. The forward-thinking experimental club mix closely aligns with his album triptych, 'Flush Real Pharynx 2019-2021', which offers a sonic exploration of contemporary urban overstimulation. If stimulation is the theme, then Gamble’s mix certainly adheres to it.

"L.S. in Wonderland" is me telling a story. My story of finding wonderful inspirations in electronic music.
These are songs that have accompanied me over the last few years and songs which I just found days ago. Mixing those tracks, blending them together, showed me that there are a lot of similarities to the music that I was listening to, all merging into a very personal sound journey. 
I'm understanding a little more each day, which elements in music I love.
I feel like I've found a path that I want to continue after experimenting with so many different sounds of music over the last 10 years.
Almost feels like Arrival.

Kontrolle ist eine Illusion und ich kralle mich an ihr fest. Umklammere sie mit all meiner Kraft, doch muss sehenden Auges registrieren wie sie schwindet. Wie sie mir aus den Fingern gleitet, als würde ich beim Tauziehen auf der falschen Seite stehen. Langsam aber beständig schwebt dieses Konstrukt meines Verstandes zu Boden. Ich greife noch einmal nach. Gehe wehklagend in die Knie und halte die Luft an. Ich spüre, dass es sich um ein sinnloses Unterfangen handelt, doch ich kann nicht loslassen. Jede Zelle meines Körpers schreit mich an aufzugeben. Es einfach zu akzeptieren und zu beenden. Ich kann nicht mehr, halte dem Druck nicht länger stand und gebe Schlussendlich nach. Der Ohnmacht nahe, ergebe ich mich meinem Schicksal. 
Im ersten Moment geschieht nichts. Keine Schmerzen, keine Ängste oder Sorgen. Ich liege einfach nur da. Still und stumm lausche ich meinen Gedanken, bis der schier unendliche Storm versiegt. Dann kommt ein neues Gefühl in mir hoch. Frieden. Ich akzeptiere was ist und was war. Mit diesem Frieden kommt die Freiheit und Glückseligkeit breitet sich wie ein Lauffeuer in mir aus. 

Heute haben wir LENI zu Gast. Die Wahlleipzigerin ist noch relativ neu auf der Podcastwolke zugange, doch hat sich mit ihren ersten Sets bereits einen Namen, als talentierte und ambitionierte DJane gemacht. Mit ihren KataHaifisch Podcast bestätigt sie einmal mehr diese Einschätzung. Ihr Mix ist von Anfang bis Ende fesselnd. Sie präsentiert uns eine  reizende Mischung aus Downtempo und Organic House. Sanfte Vocals liebkosen mit fröhlichen Melodien. Treibende Basslines shakern ausgelassen mit Percussions. Wieder einmal handelt es sich um eine rundum runde Nummer.

Since the first release in 2018 Geplantes Nichtstun has put out nearly 50 tracks, now peaking with the second EP on Serafin Audio. Through Amselcom - a big hug to Andreas - the tunes finally reached a large crowd, while enabling me to work with all kinds of labels, DJs and musicians. Not to forget my second half Marcel Schneider, who is still doing the mixdown for all tracks due to unfathomable resonance in his primary studio, which is still the bedroom. 

Geplantes Nichtstun - German for „planned idleness“- was not conceived as an entity transmitting sound far and wide. It was established around 2006 for a then new electronic project. Most people call the artist just „Geplantes“, not knowing his face, which tends to engender fun moments. During the period of success, the avoidance-oriented artistname had a strong impact on the artist itself. Or maybe. He likes neither planes nor social media and keeps producing as a passionate, creative hobby. Whereas big or regular bookings were never part of the story, the very many encounters with wonderful people always were. The beauty of it is how the music has always been the link enabling these invaluable encounters.

Inspired by a lot of downtempo artists like Wide Awake, El Buho, Xique-Xique and others, the music is quite complexly melodic, mostly somewhat dark, and yet very embracing. Developing his style towards "Slowtrance" and in other directions. Geplantes Nichtstun remains open to collaboration in a broader artistic sense, trying to evolve 3D-sound, producing scores for short films, planning still to release a dozen tracks under a pseudonym. And showing up to clubs once in a while.
