Thanks to @RosinDust for her gorgeous violins. I am always grateful for her willingness and enthusiasm.
In the last period I worked a lot on things written some time ago, so I had not composed anything new for a few months and, as always happens in these cases, I was a little afraid of having run out of creative vein. That's why, with this new piece, I'm happy and ready for the next time when I'm definitely going to ask myself, once again, "oh my god, is this over?" :)

Finn: I plan to go back to my Irish routes more this year and created a simple backing track on Octave Mandolin & Tenor Banjo, but then ran out of ideas.  Doina took a listen and came up with this lovely uplifting tune. The song had a different name when we started out, but now it reminds me of driving along a coast road with the window open. Thank you Doina! 

Doina: Celtic music has been a part of my life for the past 12 years and I can't imagine my life without it. When I started to write and record, these violin tracks seemed too simple. And then Finn started working, mixing, adding tracks. What a journey. Thank you, Finn, for giving me the opportunity to be a puzzle piece in this big machinery called music!

I asked her if she would like to stay,

Amongst the shadows, far from the spotlight,
in the quietness I exsist,
singing and playing, playing and singing,
my heart out.

I was strolling along on the beach,
she appeared again a stretch out of reach,
asked, how do you feel at this moment in time I said,
out of touch and incomplete.

Please tell me that you will stay,
she just smiled and faded away, oh my,
how I wander.
