Carefree Moments Wind Quintet

Born in Lefkada and took his first music lessons at the "Philharmonic Society Lefkada".
         He is a founding member and artistic director of "Music Ensemble Lefkada" which has taken part in concerts in Greece and abroad by making appearances in order to encourage young people and their attendance in quality music.
           In 1985 he joined the band of the Navy.
He continued his studies in trumpet in Athens, the "Athens Conservatory" with Professor Nikos Xanthoulis and "Apollonian Conservatory" with Professor Panagiotis Pavlopoulos, where he graduated with honors diploma.
He holds a Bachelor of harmony with professors Kana Charalambos at the Athens Conservatory and Dellios Kingdom the "Apollonian Conservatory" counterpoint degree, escape, orchestration, instrumentation, steering band and orchestra with professor Dellios Kingdom and Diploma in composition with the teachers Sfetsas Kyriakos and Nick Ntrela in "Contemporary Conservatory".
          She has attended seminars by eminent trombonist John Marcellus professor and head of department brass of "Eastman School of Music" US with trumpeter Rex Richardson and seminars band, Conductor, composition with Theodore Antoniou and master class of small ensembles.
  He has played as a soloist trumpet with the bands of the Navy and the band F.E.L. and the Symphony Orchestra of the "Athens Conservatory".
He participated in concerts with the "Athens State Orchestra", the "National Opera", the "Symphonic Orchestra of ERT" and the "Symphony Orchestra Municipality of Corfu."
  He has done remixes, transcriptions and orchestrations for each set of music and original compositions. Is participation in the certification International Music Competition for excellence in Composition 2009 by the National Academy of Music.
His works have been played in the US by the Louisiana Sinfonietta with conductor Dinos Constantinides, in Holland by Orkest van Utrecht with conductor George Moutsiara and in Greece by guitarist Eva Fampas, reaping honors for his involvement in the tribute to Jim Fampas the work of Passions and Desires (in memory of Dimitris Fampas). He has been awarded an honorary degree from the Roof Greek choirs participating in the competition for composing a choral work in celebration of the centenary of the birth of the great Greek poet Odysseus Elytis and Nikos Gatsos with his work "The Lamb of God" occupying fourth place in the competition. Even participated in "Contemporary Music Workshops" organized by the Thessaloniki Concert Hall in collaboration with the Music Department of the Aristotle University with his work for solo cello "Song of love".
  Displays and promotes Greek composers work through the "Musical Ensemble Lefkada" performing original works and transcribing and rearranging works for the particular set of playing as a soloist at every opportunity.
           He was conductor and music departments in charge of the Philharmonic Society of Lefkada between 1998 and 2006.
           He taught as a professor of theory at "Palestrineio Conservatory" in Lefkada from 1993 to 2010 and since 1998 is professor of trumpet at the Greek Conservatory in Athens.
            Since 1993 permanent music teacher of Primary Education in Lefkada.
