- A warning against seeking knowledge in order to show off and boast.

- Emphasising the importance of travelling in pursuit of knowledge. 
- Caution against listening to those who kill the love of the scholars in your hearts.
- That which results from the death of the scholars and knowledge being lifted.
- The value placed upon knowledge in the time of the Salaf.
- Āyāt regarding the excellence of knowledge, with an explanation from Shaykh Muḥammd b. Ṣāliḥ al-‘Uthaymīn (رحمه الله).
