– Encouragement to study Al-Islam. 
– Text: Second Principle- Knowledge of the religion of Islam with Proofs. It is to submit to Allah with tawhid, and to yield obediently to Him, and to free and disassociate oneself from shirk and its people. And it is of three levels: Islam, Iman and Ihsan. Each level has its pillars.
The first level: The pillars of Islam are five: The testification that none has the right to be worshipped exept Allah, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; to establish the Prayer; to pay the zakat; to fast Ramadan; and to make hajj to the sacred House of Allah.
So the proof for the testification is the saying of Allah, the Most High, “Allah bears witness that none has the right to be worshipped but Him; and likewise the angels and the people of knowledge bear witness: He who maintains justice, none has the right o be worshipped but Him, the All Mighty, the All-Wise.” [Surah Ali-Imran (3):18]

Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:

- An extremely important affair that is required in order to receive success and salvation. 

- “The Day when there will not benefit [anyone] wealth or children, But only one who comes to Allah with a sound heart.” [Sūrah ash-Shūrā 26: 88-89]

– The Text: The explanation which will make it clear is the saying of Allah, the Most High, “And remember when Ibraaheem said to his father and his people: I am totally free from everything that you worship except for the one who created me, He will guide me upon the true Religion and the way of right-guidance.” And Allah made this saying, that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, to persist among Ibraaheem’s progeny, so that they might remember and return to obedience to their Lord, and to worshipping Him alone, and repent from their unbelief and their sins.” [Surah az-Zukhruf (43): 26-28]. So if they turn away, then say: Bear witness that we are Muslims, submitting to Allah and making our worship purely and sincerely for Him, and not worshipping anything else besides Him.’” [Surah Ali Imran (3): 64]

The Pillars of the Prayer are Fourteen.

Important Lessons From His سبحانه وتعالى Saying:

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا بِالْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ

Verily, those who say: Our Lord is Allaah, then remain steadfast, on them the angels will descend (at the time of their death,saying): Fear not, nor grieve; but receive the glad tidings of Paradise which you were promised. (Fussilat:30)
