“This Ummah will Divide into 73 Sects and only the Jamā'ah is Saved” - Shaykh Abu Khadeejah


- Question 71: The ummah today lives in a state of confusion in thoughts and ideas, especially in that which is related to the religion, and there are so many groups and Islamic sects that claim their methodology is the true Islamic methodology which is obligatory to follow such that the average Muslim is left in confusion about this affair. So what is he to follow and which of these groups is upon the truth?
- The command to be united upon Tawḥīd and following the Messenger ﷺ, and the prohibition of splitting and differing. 
- Refutation of the erroneous view of the misguided sects that calling to Tawḥīd, prohibiting shirk, demolishing shrines, warning from bid’ah and refuting the opposer will not unite the Muslims. 
- The Prophet’s ﷺ uniting and separating of the people. 
- Question 72: Is there found in the arena of da’wah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia methodologies that are in opposition to the methodology of the Salaf? It it is the case, then how are we to interact with these methodologies and the callers to those methodologies?
- The infiltration of ideologies that oppose the Sunnah and Salafiyyah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 
- A brief history of how Muḥammad Surūr b. Nāyif Zaynul-‘Ābidīn, Muḥammad al-Ghazālī (al-Jadīd) and Muḥammad Quṭb spread their evil ideologies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Muḥammad Quṭb’s influence on and connection to Safar al-Ḥawālī. 
- The corrupted beliefs of Sayyid Quṭb, and those who influenced his ideology. 
- The reason Saudi Arabia accepted Ikhāwāni political prisoners from Egypt. 
- How Usāmah b. Lādin ended up in Afghanistan, and his connection to Ayman aẓ-Ẓawāhirī.

- The evil response of al-Ikhwān al-Muslimīn to the good treatment they received in Saudi Arabia.

- The necessity of knowing a person’s ‘aqīdah, level of knowledge and where they studied before taking knowledge from them. 
- The cancerous effect of al-Ikhwān al-Muslimīn upon the ummah. 
- How the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was established. 
- Ahl al-Ahwā’s enmity towards the Salafī da’wah and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 
- Three things they incite the youth with. 
- A warning against accepting infiltrated foreign ideas and taking from those who are not known for religion or knowledge. 
- Recalling the bounties of Allāh, being grateful for them, and caution against ingratitude. 
- The importance of reading about our past and knowing the history of those who seek to destroy the ummah and Salafiyyah.

- Four traits that protect a person from loss, and what they entail.

[29/08/2025] Do Not Become Displeased with Allāh's Blessings - By Shaykh Abu Fuḍayl ‘Abdur Raqīb حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid Salafi, Small Heath, Birmingham, UK.

Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:

- A sign of ill manners, wretchedness and ingratitude to Allāh.

- Shaykh as-Sa’dī (رحمه الله) on the verse, “So which of the blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny?”

- Sallām b. Abī Mu’ṭī (رحمه الله)on being more grateful for the blessings in our dīn than our dunyā.
