[29/03/2024] Ramaḍān reminders 1445 - by Abu Khadeejah Abdul Wāhid.

- Ḥadīth # 8: ‘Abdullāh b. Mas’ūd (رضى الله عنه) narrated that Allāh’s Messenger ﷺ said, “Islām began as something strange and it will return just as it began as something strange, so ṭūbā (glad tidings of Paradise) is for the strangers.” It was said to the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, “Who are these strangers?” He ﷺ said, “They are the ones who rectify the affairs when the people have caused corruption.” 
- In the narration of ‘Abdullāh b. ‘Amr b. al-‘Āṣ (رضى الله عنه), he ﷺ said, “They are a few righteous people among a large body of wicked people. Those who disobey them are far more than those who obey them.”
- A beautiful explanation from Imām ‘Abdul ‘Azīz b. Bāz (رحمه الله) regarding the early strangers and those in the end times. 
- Abū Bakr al-Ājurrī’s (رحمه الله) commentary on this ḥadīth. 
- Defining features of the strangers.
- A Prophet will come on Yawmul-Qiyāmah with no followers.

[30/03/2024] Ramaḍān 1445 reminders - by Abu Khadeejah Abdul Wāhid حفظه الله.

- Ḥadīth # 9: Abū Wāqid al-Laythī (رضى الله عنه) narrated, “Allāh’s Messenger ﷺ said while we were all sitting on a rug, ‘Indeed there will be trials.’ They asked him, ‘How are we to behave O Messenger of Allāh?’ So he returned his hand to the rug and took hold of it tightly and said, ‘This is how you shall behave.’” 
- “Indeed there shall be trials…”
- That which protected the early Salaf and the generations that followed from fitnah and misguidance.
- The reason mankind is filled with hatred for one another and fight each other due to racism, tribalism etc.
- The requirement of submitting to the judgement of Allāh (عز وجل) and His Messenger ﷺ. 
- ‘Abdullāh b. Mas’ūd (رضى الله عنه) on the sufficiency of the revelations (Qur’ān and Sunnah).
- Abūl-‘Āliyah (رحمه الله) on clinging to the affair as it was in the beginning.
- The cure for differing. 
- The true Golden Age of Islām, and that which lead to a decline in the strength of the Muslims.
- The reason the Ṣaḥābah conquered the Persians and Romans in a generation while seventy years of marching in the streets has achieved nothing.
