"Funky Jamstep" is the best way I could think to describe this track, which I am proudly submitting as my entry into the Johnny Rock "Pizza Party" remix contest.  The track maintains many of the key characteristics of the original while adding elements of guitar, soul and funk to go along with the dubstep roots.

I tried to soften up my version slightly from the original while adding some bounce and boogie that should make all the following dance moves possible within the 6 minute experience of this track:
– Stomping
– Wiggling
– Clap-Jumping
– Hand-Throwing
– Slow Twerking (#SLOWTWERK)

The Polish Ambassador is one of my all-time favorite artists and this is my submission to his "Pushing Through the Pavement Remix Contest."  I was originally working on remixing "The Juiceman Cometh" and then forgot to change the key of the project, which means this remix ended up being in D#m rather than C# without me knowing until about 80% through the track.  Perhaps some brilliant music folks can explain the underlying technical difference to me, but all I know is that I am cool with the way it turned out!

The name is inspired by the area I lived during my time in San Francisco, the neighborhood between The Tenderloin and Nob Hill (The Tendernob). The "tweaker" vocal sample and driving melodic bass line embody the blend of grime and creative expression that make the area unique.

This track was created as my entry to the Converse Skate Remix Series contest on Indaba.

I started working with the original bouncy bass riff and quickly realized that the C#m key would lend itself well to a dark, dirty trap song. I thought the "your lips" vocal sample and weird atmospheric sounds throughout helped sooth some of the eeriness of original track. Hope you all enjoy!

Although the original version of this track is a Jay-Z song featuring Eminem, I chose to work with the Eminem versus only for this remix since they are some of my all-time favorites from a pure lyrical perspective. Rather than make the track bang hard, I decided to let the vocals stand out as much as possible and complement them with the intense emotional background of a string symphony.

If the feedback is good, I think I will go this direction with some other lyrical hip-hop from the late 90s and early 2000s.
