Alberto Serrano, also known as Biorc, is a Spanish DJ and producer based in Madrid. His first encounters with techno date back to 2016, where he starts DJing. It's finally in 2018 when he decides to refine his musical selection and showcase it in his DJ sets, which are filled with forcefullness and intensity

As a producer, he has signed EPs on labels such as Airsound, Illegal Alien, Concepto Hipnotico, or Newrhytmic. Biorc also is the co-owner of Ethnic Meeting Recs, where he works as a mastering engineer

His productions have played in legendary clubs such as Berghain, Lanna, Specka, or Under Club. Moreover, his music has been played by artists like DVS1, HD Substance, Lewis Fautzi, Nitromi Galien or Denise Rabe among others

Justin Alejandra Vásquez, Aka JUSTIN, radicada en la ciudad de Medellín. Su gusto por la música empezó desde muy pequeña esto la llevo a querer hacerlo de manera empírica desde los 14 años. En el año 2022 se adentro de una manera profesional adquiriendo muchos más conocimientos; Explorando bastantes subgéneros del techno hasta por fin encontrar el sonido al que quería llegar. Justin relatar historias a través  sets , crear atmósferas y ser una sola con la música. Ningún set es similar al anterior, crear viajes sonoros que las personas no se esperen. La influencia por los sonidos hipnóticos, afro,funky, oscuros y sensuales con mucho groove y envolventes.

Alchemical Minds Session 022~Audio Resistance (Italy)

PHYR Records launches its debut episode with an electrifying one-hour set by the label’s visionary founder, Pyramidal Decode. 

This new series showcases the core of PHYR Records: dark, hypnotic, and powerful techno, brought to life with immersive, flashy club visuals that transform the dancefloor into a pulsating audiovisual experience.

For this inaugural episode, Pyramidal Decode crafts a journey through the label’s signature sound, blending atmospheric textures with relentless industrial rhythms. The visuals, synchronized with the music, create a futuristic club atmosphere-perfectly capturing the essence of PHYR’s identity.
Pyramidal Decode is the alias of Francesco De Marzo, a prolific Italian techno producer and DJ born in 1998.
Known for his genre-defying approach, he moves fluidly between ambient techno and hard industrial, creating mind-bending, hypnotic soundscapes.
 
Starting his musical journey as a guitarist, he later embraced electronic instruments, developing a unique production style that manipulates and distorts sounds into new forms.

Since launching the Pyramidal Decode project in 2017, he has released music on renowned labels such as Axis Records, Dynamic Reflection, MORD, Warm Up and his own Phyr Records.

His sets and productions are celebrated for their emotional depth and technical mastery, making him a rising figure in the international techno scene.

Welcome to the 12th episode of the Gekiga Podcast. Coming off the heels of my recent Colombia trip, I’m stoked to share this very special episode featuring one of my favorite up and coming producers, Colombia’s very own: Esteban Miranda. 

Hailing from Roldanillo, Valle del Cauca, Esteban immersed himself in electronic music from an early age. His passion for techno eventually steered him towards production where he developed a singular sound defined by rugged, aggressive rhythms that pulsate beneath deep, shadowy textures.

Esteban’s exceptionally crafted tracks have been released to high praise on multiple prestige labels such as Faut Section, [R]3volution Records, and Signal LTD.  Regularly featured in sets of acclaimed artists such as Wata Igarashi, Takaaki Itoh, Dax J, James Ruskin, and Lewis Fautzi, his dark, textural soundscapes have shaken dance-floors worldwide.

Today’s set is an embodiment of Esteban’s finely tuned sonic aesthetic. I’m beyond stoked and thankful for Esteban’s contribution to the Gekiga podcast. This is just the start to our collaborative journey.

Rajtan tajtan is a playful, reduplicative phrase used to describe a lively, rowdy party or commotion, a fitting theme for the tracks on this EP.

Rävspel has become a staple in our live set: a dry, dense, and cheeky workout that just refuses to let up. Raljera shifts the focus to clicky, smattering percussion riding over a steady low-end groove, topped with a mischievous synth line. Pyspunka builds its energy around a panicked sequence and a raw, distorted foundation, while Krokben keeps that distortion, while opening up more space and depth in its twisting, dimensional synth work. All in accordance with our vision of playful & mischievous but always genuine techno.
