The dynamic duo Spektre is back and they deliver the goods on MB Elektronics with an excellent full of techno sounds EP, including a solid remix by Hollen. First up is &#8216;Redshift&#8217; and there is no better way to start an EP than this one. A hammering bassline features, broken beats alongside with a melodic synth pattern makes this one a killer. Next on the line is the remix by Hollen &#8216;Wormhole&#8217; and it is another wonderful production that is slightly more moody thanks to the heavy bassline following by upbeat drums, mixed perfectly with melodic twirls. A very beautiful track and a great remix by Hollen. Closing this EP is the original mix on &#8216;Wormhole&#8217;. Intense drum kicks build the track before an absolutely devastating bassline kicks in and drive this track to a pure techno journey. Techno fans must have this EP , it is simple as that. A stunning release from Spektre and MB Elektronics world as well.

Techno legend Marco Bailey debuts on Amazing Records with an incendiary track and an uncompromising remix along with fellow Belgian superstar Redhead. The long-time veteran shows here his straightforward talent and his unique production skills: his well-documented release list goes back to the mid-nineties, spanning almost two decades of underground music, and has brought him to play at some of the most acclaimed festivals and parties worldwide such as Tomorrowland, Time Warp, Awakenings and I Love Techno. His guest appearances at Ibiza's Space have become a staple in the white island's scene, and his dj performances are in steady demand. Label owners MiniCoolBoyz team up with Italian sensations NHB for their own take on Bailey's tune, and the VA also features a special contribution by Milan's badass Giorgio Rusconi. "Stir It Up" opens with a vibrating percussive groove and a crescendo of filtered vocals that explode into a bass driven relentless swinging rhythm, while the remix is a darker rework with a mammoth chugging kick drum and hypnotic twitching synth stabs which give out a sinister and creepy vibe. "Pulsar"'s atmospheric techno and rollickin bounce lead through a spaced out journey, whereas Bailey and Redhead's remix is upbeat and filled with galloping sounds and big analog pulses. Pure old school warehouse feeling.

Adam Beyer and Ida Engberg come together to create a new track after the success of the highly acclaimed 'Lovecraft'. 'Unanswered Question' uses a weighty kick drum and a sensuous vocal before the track breaks into some groovy synth stabs. Julian Jeweil's remix of 'Unanswered Question' is a late night dubbed out version that compromises of a groove that pulsates throughout and falls into the original synth stabs before rising back into the funky, dubbed out groove. The Dense & Pika remix uses unusual percussion to produce a chunky groovy rhythm. When the track breaks it takes the listener on an eerie journey before it kicks back in to the chunky drum beat. The final track 'Virga' is a more melodic techno offering that finishes the single off with a classy finish.
