Bonjour à tous,

Je rends aujourd’hui hommage à un ami musicien extraordinaire : Mike Hutchinson.
Pour lui donner vie dans la chanson " La Ballade de Mick ", j’ai eu la chance de compter sur la voix d’Olivier Beaulieu, qui a accepté avec générosité de l’interpréter.

Mike Hutchinson, originaire de Cart City dans le comté de Cork, a grandi avec la musique comme compagnon de route. Très tôt, il a trouvé dans la guitare et le chant un langage universel, entre folk, blues et country, qu’il a façonné avec sincérité et profondeur.
Son parcours l’a conduit jusqu’à Lorient, où il a trouvé un port d’attache artistique. Sur la scène du Galway Inn, un bar irlandais emblématique de la ville.de Lorient. 

Il a partagé sa musique avec générosité, transformant chaque concert en un moment d’échange et de chaleur humaine. Son jeu de guitare précis et sa voix puissante et claire créaient une atmosphère intime, où le public se sentait à la fois proche et transporté.

Mike n’a jamais cherché la gloire tapageuse. Son art était celui du partage, de la simplicité et de l’émotion vraie. Il a laissé une empreinte durable à Lorient, des souvenirs de concerts mémorables et d’instants de fraternité. Sa musique continue de résonner dans ceux qui l’ont écouté, fidèle et profonde, comme un lien durable entre l’Irlande et la Bretagne.

Merci de nous avoir offert ces instants suspendus, empreints de ton art irlandais et de ta générosité discrète. Tu fais danser les cœurs et rêver les voisins et pour cela, toi, l’Irlandais de Lorient, tu es à jamais une lumière douce au creux de nos nuits bretonnes.

Que ton chemin soit paisible, cher Mike, ta musique résonne en nous pour l'éternité.
