Focus

This is a collection of new music, along with some older music, but new to me. I spent quite a long time on Beatport curating this list of songs. The BPM starts out at about 123-125 and works its way up to about 135 and then back down. This is the 1st time I've really made a conscious effort to build the set up and then back down. I'm really dialing in the sounds I am looking for in music, and it has to feed my soul for it to make my list. One of the most important criteria I judge a tune by is, *does this track make me involuntarily move?* If it doesn't make me feel it inside of myself, then it doesn't make my list. I'm finding the tracks that do make my list, all have a similar component, deep, throaty, funky B.A.S.S. drums. I typically steer clear of the super repetitive beats with little to no deep bass kicking. I hope you like what I've done here. Feel free to comment, I read them all. Kwest & Sketti back with DEDR with the definition of a Florida Breaks track. I'm the DJ features syncopated stabs synths, gated vox hooks all over a dubby Dutch bassline. Sounds like a chapter out of The Phatkids 101 Breaks book. Tremendous breakdown with the classic Florida vocal reverb overlaying it. Just a BIG BIG tune.
