Trawler

Bass driven hip hop / pop track. Vocals borrowed from Conscious Entity and someone else. The Fjords cannot remember the person whose voice makes up the "I have found my way" chorus melody. They don't feel bad about it, however, because they spent a whole day computerising, automating and harmonising that chorus vocal line. It was painful to watch. 
The Fjords are too lazy to correct the main vocal track and apologise for any shift in reality this may create.

An absolute throwaway track, written during The Fjords visit to their spiritual homeland; Springburn.

Ice Cap Northern Lights

From The Fjords First Album - inspired by a wander through Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan, and heavily featuring the vocals of the outstanding MR E.

High Blantyre State Of Mind (ft MR E)

McCartney's bass from Lennon's Come Together, the vocals of Hermanifezt and a melody taken from an unknown singer (both culled from the Looperman site). 

(Macca - grateful if you wouldn't sue over this. By the way, did you know that you make a mistake on the third line of Come Together? Your sloppiness meant I had to loop two lines, so I actually made you sound better.)

Question everything. Apart from reality, obviously. That's real.

Third Eye (Raise Your Hands)Ft Hemanifezt

Rap gospel rock. If you were in Central Park in early October 1974, it would have sounded exactly like this. Especially the first Saturday.

With help from the beautifully textured vocals of APZee, The Fjords have engineered a sound reminiscent of John Lennon's seminal work with Nicky Hopkins and Jim Keltner around the time of Walls and Bridges, in, funnily enough, New York in 1974. Is that Elton John on piano? No, it f***** isn't, you cheeky bastard, it's me. The production is Spector-esque. You could not fit another instrument on this track. 
The ending is a tribute to well known Hollywood musicals such as Carry On Doctor and Annie Get Your Magnum 45.

All tracks were played and recorded on a laptop in Scotland using virtual instruments. Other than a one Freshman electro-acoustic guitar with a broken nut, and an occasional digital piano, no real instruments were harmed during production.
