When I was nine I watched black and white movies

Repeated on tv every day

The lights and shadows, the music stayed with me

The stories seem to fade away

Now when you’re nine and watching black and while movies

Images burn deep to your core

There was a film with sweet zither music

My Everything
I ran across lyrics posted on a songwriting FB page posted by someone I didn’t know - but the words really spoke to me. As I read the lyrics I heard melodies and music in my head. So I reworked some of the lyrics and recorded the song in my home studio. What you, hopefully listen to here, is the end result. 
What I found out later was that the writer of the lyrics does not play an instrument or sing…he writes poems and lyrics. Poems and lyrics that deserve to be complete songs. I encourage anyone that’s a writer to connect with other people to reach that end goal. In my case; two strangers now fulfill what’s deep in their souls by not being afraid to share what they love to do most…write songs.
