Death Metal Douglas & Soundsational Sense ramble on through a few topics starting with South Florida local magazines starting with Catherine Anderson from Gold Coast Live. Also mentioned are Sam Rosenthal of Alternative Rhythms/Project music label, Rag and Jam (which had a write-up of Sense's group Dusk to Dusk). 

Sense ponders whether or not there is a cut off age to rock n roll which is brought up in a later discussion featuring Dave Wyndof of Monster Magnet, Dio, vampires etc.

Talking Heads' David Bryne's book is mentioned as SNS shares a tune he discovered that morning (Yeastie Girlz "You Suck") only to find out DMD was already privy to the trio's obscure existence having ordered a YG tape back in the late 80's.

Soundsational Sence and Death Metal Douglas welcome their third guest Ray Sousa (John Denver Fight Club, Load, Good Life Cycle, Grasspatch, Son of Crusher, etc.) and kick things off with technical difficulties, miss-pronounced names (so professional these two), black-outs, brown-outs, and full on exploitation.
                                                                                                         
 So what does pro-wrestling have in common with punk rock and how does it relate to movie premieres and waivers? "I challenge you to a match to the death" said the "He who cannot be named" Andre the Giant sized incompetent drummer who incidentally, according to DMD, sees Nazis in his soup.
                                                                                                        Ray wants listeners to know how cool it is to get guitar lessons from Danzig's John Christ then tips his hat to the importance of projecting a character onstage (or was it Sence’s hat ?). Although borrowing a hat for effect might sound kinda “gurly” there’s nothing” gurly “ about MotorHead! 
                                                                                                       
SNS acknowledges the virtues of quitting and how the title "The Resident Quitter" can be a badge of honor as the evening climaxes with shredding vocal influxes and some tasty guitar sploog a la John Denver Fight Club.

#11.) I challenge you to a match to the death !

The duo kick off the show with little self admiration and a look at progressive rock/metal . The discussion runs the gamut to band geek classes onwards to the mechanics of the ladies briskly moving their marvelous moneymakers at rawk performances. From bringing sexy back . To indulging in nerdy-town . While fully remaining stupefying about odd time signatures and then!? SNS has an epiphany and makes a solid connection between math rock and toxic masculinity. Oh the shame!

DMD experiences bona fide music school tackling odd time signatures with guitarist Emanuel "Manny" Franco. Then divulges how he and drummer Randall Taylor maneuvered into a another angular odd time group led by none other than guitarist Barry Stock. Barry's exit then leads them to Radar "O Reilly. The excitement concludes with old ROR tales of Sense's first introduction (indoctrination?) to the group as he refuses to give up his ten bucks, bitches!

#14.) They flow so naturally

STI welcomes Ralph Miguel formerly of the hard-rock power-pop sensation Gorman and Half Way Human. Will his current ensemble 100 Meter Scream and the newly revamped Damn Dirty Ape (aka the Gurnz) with STI's own DMD take over the world? Also present is James Kelly who drums in DDA and 100MS.

Ralph and James are diverting their typical pandemic Friday from watching ghost TV. Sense who is not easily impressed with most vocals is impressed with 100MS. From there it is poindexter and body movement as pencil neck geekss keep coming back to STI in droves. Not just "Revenge of the Nerds" but a total takeover? 

DMD tries real hard to cover up his jealousy about not having children like Ralph and Sense (who's got grand-kids btw). The guys all agree that saying yes to life's challenges is preferable. Should we apologize that this episode is reaching quasi profound life lessons on such a magnanimous level? We think not.

All these guys are so obsessed with giving each other nicknames could they be bigger jackassauruses than The Donald or Glen Fry? Obligation Man, Mr. Bill, 5ft of Fury, Phineus J Woopie, Charlie Brown, etc. God Gawd where does it figgin' end with this funky bunch?

#15.)The Funky Bunch

Savanting the Idiot welcomes special guest drummer Joey "Wrecked" Maya (author of "The Drummer of Miami Beach" who performed w/ The Reactions, Battalion of Saints, Circus of Power, Teddy & the Frat Girls, etc.). Sense dives right in inquiring about Joey's nickname because all you within earshot know us here at STI central go gaga over that sort of thing. Doug is a book hog for sure as much as The Reactions' Isaac Brooch wanted to hang dildos. Next up our dynamic duo hearten Joey to divulge his secret to eternal youth to no avail? Shall it remain undisclosed? Did Joey discover Ponce De Leon's "Fountain of Youth" here in Florida or make a deal with the Devil? So is it the boxing that keeps him young? Was there two gigs in 1982 with Joey and Roach Motel opening for Black Flag? The first of which might involve a stolen car that dies, a big pocket full of quaaludes, a pervy possibly murderous madman driver, etc. Also in '82 how did a disappointing concert with The Clash end up with a riot outside and Joey meeting The Clash? No "White Riot" puns?!? 

                                                                                                         So Sense "In the spirit of the punkishness" gets to bottom of two Clash drummer contrasts which leads to fellow skin-beating approbation for a one Stuart Copland. Again will Joey ever sell his soul to the devil? And speaking of dirty bargains, did Joey give Steven Tyler a sweet deal on a dildo (more friggin' dildos - sheesse!!) working at a porn shop in The Big Apple and will Miami's own Churchill's become another CVS?

STI Welcomes Special guest Juan Montoya , Part 2.
DMD wonders about how Torch . Juan's former band is fairing in the environment. of the pandemic. SNS wonders about Jaun's start into Art . The lock down has given him extra time to concentrate on Art as well as cooking .  Juan discusses various projects he's been in . Sense makes an attempt to phycho analize the trials & tribulations of life on tour & on the road. As Juan is trying to get through his stories . Just let me finish ! Quickly becomes the theme of Part 2 . DMD is no stranger to creating a verbal obstacle to keep our guest on their toes & Sence does’t help much in that department either.  Juan triggers a GWAR flash back in Doug's infinite labyrinth of memories.

STI Welcomes Special guest Juan Montoya , Part 1 . Juan dives straight into current events . As DMD dispenses with the pleasantries to dive right into the music . DMD drags the lake of Juan's earliest KISS memories. Juan drops witty & relevant sax references in regards to DMD's short lived sax stint. Sense's throws in a reference of his own to the Movie One Crazy Summer in line with cool sax playing . Cause Every body wants some ! SNS really gets a kick out of Juan's reference to the movie The Lost Boys.  Juan continues to power through and engages us in his journey of musical discovery . Mentions of Motor Head , & Metallica pop up . Juan grows weary of being spammed by all the corny ass KISS memes sent to him on Social media . So jump in your station wagon & strap in !
