Detonic Recordings are a bit excited to announce their next release DTX07 : Stoicism in E5 a 3 track Cassette EP from Yaws. 
Yaws is the brainchild of Dom Stephens : a monstrous minimal-techno/future-punk industrial-tsunami of dance floor epicness.
Dom was raised in Brisbane, is based in London and is currently residing in Melbourne. The 3 disparate locations all suggesting pointers to the Yaws sound : the next evolutionary step on from QLD's Multiple Man's dance-punk, minced up in a wash of bleak East End musique concrete, driven on beneath the permanant black nhilistic beats of the Melbourne winter.
The lead track "UP" has almost dubbie moments of dementia as it seesaws between bass surges, breakdowns and Lydonesque vocals .. 6 minutes 37 seconds of irrestible potential energies that leave the floor quaking long after its done.
Arguably the most User/Radio friendly of the three,  "FleshWar" is a deconstructed homage to Total Control, Yaws stripping back the salient features to take the cover version as close to SPK as the original was to Orchestral Manouvres.
The Closer "Regression" is quite simply a mind fuck. Conflicting, Concussing and corrupting rhythms meld and then morph into a groove your body feels even as your brain continues its futile mission to unravel the component parts.

Blakaut is a cold electronic project from Athens, Greece, founded in January 2017.
On MVP-02 they gift us two blasts of deep-frozen mutant techno from the disco at the end of the universe.

Project Marina are a Boy/girl  synth-pop band from Nantes in the West of France.
The duo combines guitar, analog synths and drum machine to develop songs between French synth punk, techno and electro krautrock. 
As if Alan Vega kissed Etienne Daho on a french touch party, it's a try to combine your mother's caress and your father's slap at the same time.

Projet Marina - Tranquille Epure

Buried underground in the cool comfort of the shadows, UIU is a new force channeling inspiration from Dark Wave/New Wave/Cold Wave/Goth/Synthpunk/Synthpop. Influenced by 1980’s synthpunk and new wave acts such as Futurisk, Suicide, Gary Numan and The Human League, UIU encompasses a wide palette of dark, yet melodic sounds into a retro soundtrack for an unknown future…
UIU is the solo incarnation of Greg Weir, operating out of Halls Head WA. Detonic Recordings (Spirit Bunny, Multiple Man, School Damage etc) have selected the mesmerizing "Wild And Innocent" as the 4th single (and first Australian Artist)  in their "Minimal Viable Product" series.
The Wild And Innocent is a story of murder , loss and hopelessness from a feminine perspective through  a blade runner lens . While comprised of the trademark UIU looping synth drones it features hooks a plenty in the almost psychedelic vocal phrasing.

The awesome new single from Neon Lies, "Visitors" is a haunting, slow burner: The songs' trajectory sketching the arc between losing and healing.

ts August so Paris will be deserted: the streets strangely silent as the populace disappears for a month. Lex Clopes are still there, propping up the bar no one knows about where every day is a holiday anyway.
The band that may or may not exist will probably be playing this feel good Gallic-pop (soon-to-be) classic to the disinterested barman and waiting patiently for the rest of the world to find them.

"Vade Mecum" is the second full length from "Analog Technoids" Metal Disco. 10 staunchly analogue tracks, a gritty maze of hard-hitting electronics with a retro-punk aesthetic.
Melbourne's Detonic Recordings will release the LP as a deluxe tape package as part of the US and UK "Cassette Store Day" distribution on Oct 13th. Digital will be available as CD and download from the Bandcamp with Global distribution by Believe Digital.
Starting out as a side project for Paradox Obsur main-man Toxic Razor, Metal Disco's hardware obsessed music and aesthetic never moves far from a 80s, primitive-tech, post-ebm, Cold beat, proto-punk, synth-orgy.
The 10 song collection includes collaborations with Supernova 1006, André Savetier. Mind Teardown and the title track (and single) with an amazing performance from Keren Bartok.

Toxic Razor and Krystal Ann mix it up a bit on these tracks with Guest vocals from Adam Usi on "Cold Hearted" and this stomping version of And Ones' "Techno Man" on the flip..
