Sometimes everything doesn’t go as planned, especially in these past months there’s been so much uncertainty about what it’s going to happen. Twisted branches and overgrown plants blocked their way at every turn but they still moved rapidly through the jungle with effortless ease. They knew these parts like the back of their hand, every inch of river and growth, up to the trees that towered overhead. It was the only way you could survive, one wrong turn and you’d be in trouble, it was the nature of the jungle.

To round off the year Hanzo and Yaman’s Belly Dance Services are ushering out one more record to see us through the holidays. Set for release on Christmas Eve, the EP is a fresh co-production journey from Central American producers Fabio Me Llaman Soltero and Odia, who come together for ‘Demoladora de Bestias’.

Backed up by two remixes from Indonesian producer DJ Aditya Permana and Belly Dance services co-founder Hanzo, the four originals and two reworks marry spellbinding rhythms, hypnotic percussion and ritualistic samples, navigating both slower tempos and vibrations custom-made for the floor.

Hivern Discs' regulars Iro Aka are set to release 'Ametrine Horizon'. The compilation of tracks made between the beginning of 2019 and mid-2021 are inspired by the landscape of Maresme and conceived by the conjunction of the peacefulness of nature and dancefloor sensations. Produced at Premia de Mar, Catalonia, we've the pleasure of airing the release's title track in full. TIP!

Gestalt Records with Route 8

NYC-based Jonathan Lundquist, known as IT-XPO, is a Delayed regular for a good reason. The Chicago native never disappoints, regularly putting out exceptional DJ mixes, an impressive amount of live mixes that are somehow always full of fresh material, and of course his releases. 

Today we feature Lundquist’s second mix on Delayed, this time with an hour and a half of dance floor-oriented music. The most distinct characteristic of IT-XPO’s music is its dedication to emotion without compromising on unrelenting grooviness. This mix is no different. Opening on a “high” note with Lawrence’s Oolong High, and sustaining the energy throughout the 90 minutes, this mix will have you locked in and unwittingly swaying nonstop. The first hour is house à la Mr. G, before shifting to higher energy with hypnotic basslines and melody mania. 

IT-XPO has been and will keep putting out beautiful electronic music for years, and we are extremely happy to be able to support such an incredibly passionate who also just so happens to be our neighbor.

いいえ、この時間帯は使ってないわ。
 
 
-ミックスのコンセプトやアイデアを教えてください。
 
このミックスに関してとなると、いつも私はパーティーのオープニングでプレイする時は、まずは緩く暖かい感じといった雰囲気を重視して、クラブに人が増えて来た時にはグルーブを保ちながら、徐々にあげて行く感じです。なので、この日も先ほども言ったようにオープンの１時間だったので、そういう感じになったわ。
 
 
-近況と最近の活動を教えてください。
 
春から夏にかけて２枚のEPがリリースされる制作が終わったところよ。１つはJan Krueger、Daze Maximのレーベル「Hello?Repeat」、もう１つはポルトガルの新しいレーベル"Assemble Music"からリリースされます。

it's crazy to be in probably the only country in the world that is partying full on right now. i don't think i ever played this much at home. 

now weekend of 5 gigs makes you go deep into your crates and folders. this is the opening of the night at opium club on August 14 2020. lots of music here from some 4-5 years back, a territory that is somehow usually forgotten. lots of these tracks appeared in old mixes, but it felt good playing them out again. have a ride.
