Putting the YOU into unity: Re.You’s Younion returns for the first excursion of 2022 with longstanding friends Eins Tiefer. 
Mainstays on the collective stable since its inaugural 001 VA way back in 2016, the duo have played a role and had a presence on almost every Younion release so far. ‘Sunscreen’, however, is by far their biggest dispatch for the label to date. 
Three fantastical originals and one remix from the label founder, each cut takes us far away from reality, capturing our emotions and imaginations with every startling dynamic. ‘Sunscreen’ takes the lead with cosmic broken beats, sweeping spacey textures and a cult spoken word vocal that’s loaded with so many lines of wisdom it’s almost overwhelming (especially if you’re old enough to remember it the first time around) It’s backed up by a beautiful remix from Re.You himself. Rolling, organic and widescreen – it sets the scene for the two crucial club instrumentals that follow.
‘Care’ is a walloping slab of dancefloor drama that’s strung out with brilliant tension but ballasted by powerful percussive stomp. An epic Q followed by a commanding A; it’s the type of tune you roll your sleeves up to play. And you best keep them rolled up for the finale, too. 
The last piece in this provocative and emotionally rich puzzle, ‘Calculating’ is Eins Tiefer at their darkest and most pensive. A timeless moment of prowling techno, unhurried and full of suspense, there’s a great sense of mystery running throughout… And never giving itself away. 
What a way to start a new year. Eins Tiefer and Re.You have delivered something special. But remember; none of this works without YOU.

Cream & GaryW. discuss Cream’s recent vacation and its positive affects on maintaining balance, not only personally but professionally. They dive into how time off often provides a mental reset which can re-motivate you. 

The guys also discuss the current crisis DJs are facing with PUA ending compounded by less gigs being available at a decent wage. They offer some creative ways for DJs to make money in this uncertain environment.

Cream & GaryW. talk about the positives and negatives from Cream's first gig back in 5 months. The guys discuss the launch of Get Down University. An online learning platform that provides DJs knowledge to build their passion for DJ'ing into a successful business. They also get into BPM ranges they forget to hit during their sets. We all have those comfortable BPMs we sit in!

The Get Down 10 - "Rule #1, Don't Be Late"

Cream & GaryW. discuss the struggles of pricing coming out of quarantine⁣. This was anticipated, now we are seeing venues take advantage of the pandemic⁣. 

We agree this is an opportunity for young DJs, but we need to proceed with caution⁣. Know when you're building a meaningful relationship ⁣& be cognoscente of when you're being played. 

The guys also talk a little about getting ALL the details when booking a gig. Don't be caught getting in over your head.
