For the past ten years Norman (DJ alias Burnout Sumner, a nod to one of his all-time heroes) has been a vital part of Berlin’s music scene, mainly as a blogger, music journalist, via a communication agency focussed on artists and also as a passionate attendee of clubs and gigs. Over the course of this time he got himself a huge collection of tunes and records and his alter ego Burnout Sumner is his attempt to share it with the world and celebrate the life-affirming communal power of the dancefloor.
His mixes are always up for surprises and notoriously take genre-hopping detours where oldschool tracks can exist right next to brand new ones as well as underground goodies are officially allowed to hold hands with all-time classic hits. For Burnout Sumner, a good DJ set always calls for a few proper pop moments to resonate with the audience. As a curator he’s open to all sorts of genres, as DJ he’s mostly focussing on soulful house music and retro-driven 90s rave vibes, he also shares a deep love for other grooving genres from funk to hi-energy.

As usual it’s another all EXCLUSIVE dive into the world of underground disco, Balearic house, slo-mo burners and deep chugging vibes. From the yacht rock stylings of Shalvoy building up with deep grooving slo-mo from Even Funkier, Ben Jamin and Pete Ellison taking us into nu-disco territory with new tracks from stalwarts Andy Buchan and Stephen Richards. Hot Digits also welcomes some superb work from DJ Laurel, Mannix, Prisma Deer, Ben Banjo-Field, Solazz and Lup Ino alongside staple contributors Fingerman, Ian Upfold, Chewy Rubs, Fray Bentos, GMGN, Groovemasta and Down Under Disco along with some old faces making their return to the label with JB Dizzy, Raw Artes, Pete Le Freq, Oldchap and P-Sol all in residence. Deep action from Jisco Dazz, Dexter Jones, Sauco and some Frankie Knuckles inspired lushness from Juan Moreno before ending the compilation with jackin disco house bangers from Brightons enormously talented Barney Osborn and regular on the scene C. Da Afro. Jet Boot Jack then collaborates with Barry Isaacs and Deemas J for the huge Groove Armada esque reggae house monster that closes the compilation in fine style!

Darren Daz Dalton aka one half of dj duo Get Down Edits & the man behind all the Get Down Edits production work has been a music lover since his early teens & began collecting Vinyl back in 95 at the tender age of 15 by the time he hit 17 he was out playing gigs in bars & clubs in his native Waterford City & has been djin ever since, 
Over the years he has supported or played beside international djs like Kenny Dope (MAW), 
Kerri Chandler, Chez Damier, Greg Wilson, DJ Deep, The Revenge, Atjazz & Charles Webster to name a few & as part of Get Down Edits alongside dj partner Martin Roche has 
been doing the festival and international circuit with great reception playing some incredible events including the famous Glastonbury in 2016, Electric Picnic, Body & Soul, Electric Elephant in Croatia, the House of Disco Warehouse Project Takeover in London, and so on. Summer 2017 saw Get Down Edits playing as part of the Glitterbox Ibiza family alongside huge names like Dimitri From Paris and Aeroplane at the incredible Hi Ibiza venue and Defected Croatia at The Garden in Tisno, they also went onto to play Suncebeat Croatia,
Production wise Darren grew a curiosity & interest in how the records he was playing were put together very early & started doing edits for use in his own dj sets back 2001,
It was years later before the whole edit scene emerged & he was drawn to it straight away & under the advise & encouragement of Greg Wilson set up Get Down Edits the record label in 2011, since then the labels put out 6 vinyl releases which included his own edit work along side guest producers like Late Nite Tuff Guy, Deep & Disco (JKriv), Fingermann, LTJ as well as releasing with other labels including Disco Deviance, Editorial, Samosa Records, Glenview Records, Daje Funk, Queen & Disco, Wall Of Fame, Masterworks Music, Nang, Paper Disco, Hot Digits, File Under Disco, Re-Loved, Golden Soul, Slighty Transformed, Hotbox Boogie, Reckless Records, Deep Sense, Alpaca Edits, Unkwn Records, Ism Records, Elevation Recordings & Midnight Riot.
Darren has also been busy with remix work & has remixed for artists like Funk My Jesus, Nine Lives, Heion, Slync, JMRS, Darran Nugent, Oh Yeah, JFunc, Stephen Richards, Smashed Atoms, JB Dizzy, Jay Ru, Fran Deeper & Rayko, Soopaman inc feat Andre Espeut, JKriv & The Disco Machine As well fellow Irish artists & acts like Le Galaxie, King Kong Company, Kormac, Danny G & The Major 7th`s & Peter Vogelaar as well as written some original pieces of his own including “Sweet Love” where he teamed up with two piece Irish electronic act Cut Once which got released with a serious of remixes from Mix & Fairbanks, Fingerman, Jay Ru, Micko Roche,
