In this episode, we hear from Marion Case and his wife Tina. Marion has been living with Multiple Myeloma for the past two years. The pain and symptoms from both his illness and its treatment have greatly affected his quality of life but since receiving palliative care, his pain and symptoms are under control. Marion and Tina speak about how palliative care managed provided them both with a full layer of support. Dr. Corey Ingram, their palliative care physician, shares some insight on the role palliative care played in Marion’s treatment in this honest look at managing the pain from a serious illness.
