In this episode of our ‘Quality Life’ series, we hear from Valerie Wallace, a young, vibrant mother and wife who was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2013. After her cancer spread to her liver, she learned she was not a good candidate for liver surgery. Frustrated and determined to fight, she turned to palliative care. Valerie shares how palliative care focused on her goals of care and helped improve her quality of life in this engaging exploration of how palliative care works with curative treatment.
