This is one of the better application of chiptune elements I've heard.

I raised the rating slightly because I made some chiptune myself and I'm sentimental. However, the musical themes could be a bit more interesting and complex. And these background effects are annoying.

For the most part I think you did a very good job overall with the sound design and composition. I personally am not a fan of the chiptune style sounds and would have loved a more HiFi sound in its place but getting nice sounds out of Regency I think was not easy. I know I am often going for a 4 on the floor but am wondering if this at least in paces might have had more a step style beat. I do also wonder if it was a few bpm faster if that might improves things.

Nice track, I like your theme here.  A competently made track. But though it flows nicely, and does offer variation, nothing really surprises, and it ends up feeling a bit obligatory to me.  Really good timing on the slow attack sounds, btw, I like that.

Bikini Wax

For this track I used 11 instances of a wonderful synth named Thorn by Dmitry Sches (DS Audio). All modulations of the parameters have been done live by making use of aftertouch and/or the modulation wheel. So no automations other than some volume changes here and there. In a studio setting, I think this makes the music nice and organic. Of course, a DJ on stage always does this. 

The title “Anemoia” is referring to the phenomenon of feeling nostalgic to a time or place that one has not experienced before...
