This is an intentionally messy tune about the imagined persona of a court jester and the life they might lead outside of work.

Joker's Blues

This is a brand new one in the works. I started writing bits of it in reflection upon an influential musician dying in 2019 and what I felt I needed to do to work through the emotions of the process. I started in August and picked it back up in late December and the arrangement came forward, then the verse structure. The band hasn't even practiced this yet so it may change entirely! Who knows?
