We could not imagine a more fitting Podcast Series contribution to soundtrack the peak of our of summer than this lush dubby mix recorded by the New York via Chicago DJ & productress Eden Aurelius 🦋

Back in April last year, the inaugural record on the Glaswegian label co:clear lands in the crates at Phonica Records and it steals the show. It was the debut release by Eden Aurelius titled ‘Plateau’ with it’s soft-edged downtempo take on dub techno dancing through clouds of ambient textures and perfectly embodying that netherworld in between ambient and dance music that is the beating heart of Introspective Electronics. Over a year later, we are so grateful and proud to have Eden feature on our Podcast Series with this stunning hour-long recording 💕

Nothing else to do now but to plunge into the dubwise depths of this magick mix where tender energy ebbs and flows in the spaces between not-quite-ambient and not-quite dance. It’s in the liminal space of the soft cracks in between. Aren’t you curious to hear? ✨

Los Angeles native Ole Mic Odd grew up playing saxophone and immersed in jazz education before moving to the east coast and discovering turntables, synthesizers and drum machines. After four years back in LA, he moved to Chicago in 2024 where he is based.

Influenced by cult Dutch electronic labels, Detroit electro, Miami bass, Chicago house and acid, and all types of funk, his music is driven by hardware electronics, live recordings and improvisation. His high-energy hardware PA and DJ sets weave together techno, acid, electro, house, synth-wave and body music, while his recordings range from acid electro and jackin techno to crunchy house and ambient synth improvisations.

Michael has released on US and EU labels Kraftjerkz, KRI, Source Material, Zement, Dead Channel, Natural Sciences, New York Haunted, Hilltown Disco, Clan Destine, Zonate and Up North Records, among others. His latest EP "Vapor Lock" is out on Paris-based Nocta Numerica.

Tras iniciar nuestro camino como programa semanal en 2013, hoy, 12 años después, ponemos punto y final a una de las aventuras más enriquecedoras y desafiantes en las que nos hemos visto envueltos. Ha sido una experiencia llena de aprendizaje, sin dejar de lado en ningún momento el riesgo inherente a un proyecto experimental.

Sentimos que el trayecto debe concluir aquí. Después de más de una década compartiendo inquietudes musicales, ha llegado el momento de reordenar esfuerzos y centrarnos en otras iniciativas dentro del ecosistema Lapsus / Balmat que también reclaman nuestra atención.

Miramos atrás y nos emociona recordar a todos los invitados y amigos que han pasado por el programa, la ingente cantidad de música que ha sonado a lo largo de casi 500 emisiones y los incontables mensajes de cariño recibidos, dentro y fuera del estudio. Decir que nos hemos sentido privilegiados se queda corto.

Gracias Joan, Cris, Alfons, Mario, Gerard, Albert, Carles, y a todas las personas que han aportado su grano de arena para que Lapsus Radio alcanzara la máxima calidad con recursos muy limitados. Y, sobre todo, gracias a todxs aquellxs que habéis estado al otro lado, no solo escuchando lo que queríamos contaros, sino también poniendo dinero directamente de vuestro bolsillo. Esperamos que haya valido la pena.

Esto no termina aquí, nos encontraréis en otros proyectos, distintos en forma pero fieles en espíritu. Estaremos cerca.

Anta Doma’s music was the result of a collaboration between Jeune Walker and Edith for Sketchy Lines Records, fusing the work of two producers and DJs based in Lille and Brussels. After several placements on various compilations and two auto-releases over the past year and a half, their music transcribe break, dubstep and experimental influences into a percussive club music tinted by deep atmospheres.
