'Sunshine Around Me' is a collaborative track by Mike Spirit and Danny Tales. The release features three versions of the track - the original, Danny Tales version and the song with vocals by Pesnopeya. This song appeared at the very end of the work on the release. For this beautiful deep house track producers wanted to create more atmosphere, as if the track wanted to become a song itself. Jazz singer Polina Kasyanova aka Pesnopeya and poet Peter 'Petrovich' Ivantsov, author of many SCSI-9 songs, including our beloved 'Senorita Tristeza' and 'Line of Nine', were involved. We included this version in the release, as we really love sunny songs along with house music. We believe that beauty will find its listener, because the sunshine is around us.

Mattr aka Matthew Clugston is a leftfield house, breaks, and techno producer as well as a superbly talented motion graphics artist from Birmingham, now living in London. With residencies dating back to his hometown at Code with Steve Lawler as well as supporting gigs for Sasha & Danny Tenaglia, Mattr shared decks with the likes of Tale of Us & Jamie Jones before hosting his own events with fellow innovator Alex Banks as well as Maxxi Soundsystem, and XXXY, to name a few. It was from there that he made the move to Berlin to study music production & performance and where he'd form a friendship with label partner, Max Winstanley (Lewyn Stan)who he paired up with to launch their Helical Scan imprint.

After years honing his sound, Matthew went on to release his first album along with several other productions on Faceless Recordings, TrippyCode, Ozono, and CRR, garnering support from Amé, Guy Gerber, Anja Schneider, Nick Warren, Rodriguez Jr, & the legendary Laurent Garnier.

25 years after first cutting his teeth DJing tech house & breaks, Mattr's broad musical palette often draws him closer to the more emotive side of electronic music, finding deep resonance with forward-thinking artists like Max Cooper, Jon Hopkins, Tourist, Overmono, Fourtet, Phon.O and Radioactive Man, whom you'll hear plenty of in his consistent & beautifully diverse mix series.

2020-21 has seen a series of stunning releases on his own imprint, Loft & Sound, including the exquisite melters, Spiel, Celadon, Flax, Ecru, Eitas, & Ivo, all of which have been featured on Getting Deeper.

The process - From Music to unique Art-Vinyl

As part of our holistic concept every Vinyl is a unique piece of art.
Our releasing artists have the chance to paint their own cover art on a mosaic of 4x4 blank Vinyl covers, which we use as a big canvas.

This entire picture is then used to create the album cover for the digital release and vinyl production. To make each vinyl unique, we decided to hand paint the cover lines on the front cover of every vinyl. So you can become the owner of a small piece of art & music. The vinyls are also limited and numbered. So better be fast!

Mobilee invite South African pairing Mamela to make their label debut with ‘I Warmed You Up’.

A rising duo from South Africa’s flourishing melodic house and techno scene, duo Gordon and Valentin, aka Mamela, look set to keep things moving this May as they deliver their sophomore release. Hot on the heels of their debut via Katermukke, mid-April welcomes a first outing on iconic Berlin staple Mobilee via their two-track EP, ‘I Warmed You Up’. Recorded via samplers, a 303 and a Model D during a trip along South Africa’s East Coast, the productions combine resonant baselines and powerful synths with refined vocals and delicate textures to offer two commanding yet blissful cuts inspired by the exquisite locations visited during their travels.

While Vir and I only met in person once (which was a hello/handshake at my OddBird theatre gig in New Delhi back in 2017) we've had a close musical connection as he'd released 2 killer forward-thinking EPs on Manjumasi. We've been chatting over the years sharing music and musings on life in general. At the start of the pandemic, I had a lot of musical drafts, but I wanted to push them to the next level in terms of edginess and sophistication, so I sent a few tunes his way to see if he was inspired. He bounced back with some outstanding ideas, and we tirelessly worked on molding these lumps of clay into a lump of wax.

Artistically and personally, it's been an absolute pleasure working with Vir and building our relationship - it took us two years to fully understand each other's approach + figuring out when to compromise and when to veto, so I see this EP as the first chapter in a story that's yet to be written.

I'm proud of our final product and floored by the absolute stormer remix from @christopherledger, another artist whose music is another dimension beyond the rest of the pack.

'After his debut at our family with an amazing remix for Amarno´s "Like Butterflies", Rubinskee presents us with a 4 quality  track EP "Two Do".

"Two Do " opens the recipe. Analog sound war touch can be heard.  Tight and complex drum programing creates the tension and builds up team with a strong square bassline. Chopped robotic voices, melodramatic chords and melodies easy coming and easy going, minimal glitches slowly gettin the trip. All this makes you fall into electronic music goodness.

Amarno is in charge of the "Two Do" remix. He picks the original steams to deliver a deep tech signature twist. Balanced sub bassline, harps and synths that come in a progressive way, making the version a dancefloor filler for sure.

"Approach & Identify" - the second original brings more exquiste vibes for you.
The track intros with strong percussion, making a smooth tombs game as it developes. Luxuous pads and harmonies. Sexy female vocal givin’ that sweet summer touch. During de sequence the variation at instruments and notes is abundant, but never losing the original main presence. Deep House at its finest! 

Last but not least, Don Alex Albert closes the EP remixing "Approach & Identify ".
A more dub and acid track, focused on the original, but  driven for raver´s vibe.
Amazing trip and gold key at our new EP.
