With a hangover from the 90s rave scene, Splonie blends synthwave, indie dance, disco and melodic house to create a unique mix of nostalgia and modern bops in his music, gaining him praise from the likes of Skream, Patrick Topping and Solomun. This blend creates a huge audience for the producer and DJ which has seen him regularly getting specialist plays on BBC Radio 1.

As this song starts you are instantly put in the 1980s. A beat reminiscent of Enola Gay graces your ears and then the hi-hats in sixteenths say hello with that punchy, gated kick. As the drums start, the sequenced bass hits - close your eyes and you're in Miami. But this isn't just a nostalgia track; as the vocals come in you get that modern vibe. The tone of the vocals and the way they travel around your ears are pitched to perfection and give you the classic blend of styles you expect from Splonie. With modern textures and layers coupled with creative and explosive production, this song combines everything that Splonie stands for  and you aren't given a second to get tired of this song. Glistening electric piano and bells keep the song in the 80s, while the vocals and textures keep it in the present day - An intelligent blend not only of genre, but of entire era.

Now teaming up with Mexican DJ sensation and Super Spicy Records boss Monsieur Van Pratt for their first collaboration, they have crafted a four-track EP of undeniably funky disco-house excursions, highlighting a shared passion for golden age disco, funk, and soul, showcasing their genuine appreciation of these influences.
