I am back with a new track, I have decided to upload once every 2 weeks minimum, as I feel that would be somewhat balanced and would give me enough time to work on my music and take breaks when I need to.
My objective with this track was to make something that'd resemble a rhythm game song, which is why the tempo on this is faster than my usual songs, and there is more rhythm changes, I decided to keep the chord progression simple too, only thing being fancy about it is the extensions and the voicing of the chord.

this song deeply reminds me of home, my childhood, and the unique culture of hawai’i

when i was living in denver last winter i got extremely homesick. one late night while i was walking with bronze through the snow at cheeseman park, this song started playing over and over again in my head out of nowhere. i hadn't heard it in years… in that night i had a powerful call to work on the song as a flip. i wrote most of it back in april but wanted to wait until i was back home on o'ahu, finally feeling reconnected to the land and the energy here to finish and release it. many mahalos to john cruz for creating a song that so beautifully captures the spirit of hawai'i, and I hope you enjoy my take on it ♥
