Dux Jones, (pronounced Dukes) a native of  Detroit, Michigan strikes a balance between fantasy and reality with his brand of Midwest production  Rhyming on his own singles or producing his own beats  or with  production team, the Skouts. To date Dux has had features classified under iTUNES "New and Noteworthy" category!  Dux Jones song  and by the way that he produced "Pourin it on" is on NBA 2K11 soundtrack and video game with many major artist.  Mike Jordan  grace the cover of the game which has sold over 5 million copies nationwide.

Dux's is apart of the Skouts production team  and have the following production credits to name a few:

Dux Jones seeks to create a sound that is distinctly Dux's. In 2009, he released a number of digitally distributed singles as a part of FrontStreet’s 52/50 single series.  His influences vary; a huge fan of music, movies, and art, Dux Jones would argue that it’s those pieces that “grab the soul” inspire him to reach beyond the song.

Records like Michael Jackson’s Thriller and movies like the Hughes Brothers’ Menace II Society balance Dux between fantasy and reality and allow him to create a world “Where Every Thing’s Different,” but still a reflection of his personal experience.

Detroit births a distinct sound; a sound filled with pain, love, passion, fear, faith and strength. It Dux's duty to continue this legacy and Dux Jones is fully prepared to leave his mark.
