'Various Assets - Not For Sale 2013' is a collection of some of the music that was made during the Red Bull Music Academy during four early summer weeks in New York City last year. The double CD contains 30 tracks composed, improvised and discovered by the 62 international participants and a cast of high-profile studio team members, who all got their fingers dirty on synths, Mellotrons, vibraphones, drum machines and anything else they could lay their hands on. Enjoy!

On “Should Not Let It Go,” post-rock polymath Ale Hop’s sultry, buzzing guitars seem intent on proving that sludge pop ain’t dead. But in contrast to the slacker insouciance of, y’know, Dinosaur Jr., Ale’s electro dalliance exhibits all the pomp and circumstance of a psychedelic pageant. Paisley at the ready!

Remastered & Remixed from the 1995-97 tapes 

All Bedroom recordings was recorded in Shacktown (Metro Wayne) Michigan onto a Kmart brand Karaoke Machine, with reverse engineered microphones made out of old headphone. Remixing & Mastering has all been done using 4-track cassette recorder, audacity, & custom tape modulation.

Strapped/The Preperation

we're a fairly new label focused on cassette tape/vinyl format only, with all hand made labor intensive packaging <i>(silk screened, hand cut and stitched)</i> even though all releases are analog, each album comes with a free digital downloads within all products.
