Written by Ty & Adam prior to the onboarding of our drummer, Jim.  This recording was performed as a live take alongside a programmed drum, hence the e-drum tones.  This song is a teaser towards our eventual LP release.

Consisting of funk and jazz musicians, all sharing an anything goes attitude, in the attempts of composing something quirky and something heavy.  Gewgaws strives to provide music that gives the audience the experience of a story, rather than a focused reliance on hooks and repetition.  Gewgaws may appeal most to the listeners who seek a different form of complexity and genre-blending; still giving the chance to funk out....or, bang that head and throw some fists.  This is to the stoic and perturbed, alike.

>>>Auditioning a position for a lead vocalist, so we can finalize all compositions, please inquire within!  We also have ambitions to include an additional horn player, though this is not a precedence for the coming release and performances in the future.  Stay tuned for possible small local performances to be announced.
