This is an emotive setting of Sara Teasdale's poem 'There Will Be Rest'. Following a serene opening, the piece rises and falls through both affecting climaxes and passages of great tranquility, ending with the same sense of stillness with which it begins.

This is where you'll find recordings of your exam & non-exam pieces, and singing accompaniments of music that we've been working on during your lessons. Any questions, just leave me a comment under the piece in question and I'll get back to you. 

It is vitally important that you continue to use your music & practice diaries. Please don't just rely on listening; check the notes (and clef!)that you are playing are correct. These recordings should help with any rhythmic or timing issues that you may have, and give you a firmer idea of the tempo we need to aim for.
