Usually I like to be experimental and add different chords when I remix a song but I absolutely loved the harmony in this song the first time I heard it. I ended up just playing guitar over it to add a slightly different feel. As for the drop, I've never worked with crazy trap samples like that so it was super fun to try and incorporate and juxtapose it against a more future style chord patch. This was a super fun project to work on,

The laser: birthed from the sound effects of science fiction films and continuously revised through the growing pains of music hardware and the obsessive madmen that use them, the proverbial 'pew pew' has been synonymous with dance music since its inception. Like a crazed Victor Frankenstein emerging from his lab after the foul success of an unholy experiment, Ohmy join the ranks of other laser-wielding musical maniacs with the whitest of Yeezy Boosts, the most faux logoed of the faux logoed long sleeve tees and the daddiest of dad hats... when I heard the original track I couldn't help but laugh and dance around. as amazing as the vocal content is, it also has this extremely infectious hook that grabbed me alongside a dark piano melody that fit the mood perfectly.

this remix has been in the works for a while now, and over the weekend I managed to make a drop hard enough to keep up with the original. this is for the middle of a set where the energy can be taken to another level or the last song you play before getting out of the car and walk into a venue for a show.
