I recently filled out the 4.0 version of a deluxe tournament tierlist (will link this in a comment) that contains a multitude of different tournaments, which allowed me to settle on what I personally think is a well-rounded and varied Top 5. Some all-horror reps were skipped over to keep it interesting, shoutout to FFaF's "The Horror" and NSB's "Zalbo".

Aside from that, not much else to say! I'm really happy to see this tournament community spring up, especially with all it now has to offer. Here's to (in MY subjective opinion,) the best of the best.

No Eyed Girl has had a troubled relationship with this community. A handful of projects involving her have come and gone now, through entirely reasonable factors at play. As of currently, her only proof of existence in this community is a cameo in a Mashup Week 1 Halloween lore post. This may convince some that No Eyed Girl is prone to small, fragmented timeframes of support... I can assure you this is not the case.

Throughout the course of participating in TFARP (a tournament roleplay server you may have heard of), I have had the pleasure of exploring and expanding the base concept of Rose's vision into a fully realized character. I have been invested in No Eyed Girl for a year and a half now, and have no intentions of lessening my involvement.

Rose and I have spent the longest time pushing to have our collective work recognized - to give No Eyed Girl a home that'll keep her. I can see in hindsight, though, that asking for "anyone who would take her" was a flawed approach. It's been a tough decision, but... we've reached an agreement.

If Rose Shrimp and I haven't both given the go-ahead, do not put this iteration of No Eyed Girl in your projects. If I don't know you, don't even bother asking. I'm sure you all have good intentions, but I cannot overstate that I am not doing this again.

Yep, my birthday's exactly one day after best girl's. Epic moments be like.

Anyhow, there's an interesting story behind this track: I used to be Alphys in DatDavi's AU, Danke Depths. Thing is, once David took a break from Discord, he handed his old server to a friend, Bommy/Death. I ended up being Chara in the new AU Death made, so I made a new MSB for that, of course. Then his AU stopped being an AU, Danke Depths was rebooted, and I was suddenly Danke Depths Chara. Good thing too, I'd hate to have scrapped this track.

Unrelated, it's great using more than 4 bootlegs to comprise your whole identity, let me tell you. Hope you can enjoy a chiptune-style MSB as opposed to more traditional styling.

And the last track of the special: the megalo for ToDP that was teased 7 months ago. Or, at least, the barebones composition of it.
Since this is the last track of the special and ToDP content has been especially scarce as of late, I'll just come out with all this:
I originally planned to do more tracks more frequently, but after posting a good few, I hit a wall. It seemed to me like I was just looking to pump tracks out as quick as possible, a lot of them just composed in a midi sequencer with a soundfont slapped on top. I struggled a lot with keeping up the pace, especially doing so despite some amounts of disinterest and conflict within the AU. I felt like I wanted to contribute more to this project, but didn't feel like I had the proper means to. I didn't want to spew out garbage, but I didn't want, well. 7 month breaks between content. That balance is especially difficult, at least, for me, it was.

Y'know, they say when the megalo for an AU is released, that's effectively it. The AU's purpose is done, because in this day and age, that's all people wait for. I used to believe that, hence why I posted so much before it. The original plan was to post the megalo last.

But I don't see a point in that philosophy anymore.

We'll see where ToDP goes next eventually.

Thing is, I'm not exactly a big He-Man fan, and I really didn't feel good about just throwing some skeleton-related motifs together to make up for lack of knowledge about the character.

Trivia Murder Party 1 and 2, however, both feature an eccentric serial killer host that fits surprisingly well into an outcast no-mercy kingly role. I've played enough of these games to get a little bit of a feel on his motivations and whatnot, hence the sudden change in roles.

sorry for the hiatus. i honestly haven't had much interest in uploading here for a while. wish there was more to it, but nope, just disinterest. i've started "migrating" from the UTAU community to the fanmade tournament community, i guess? the tourney this was made for is probably dead in the water, but i thought i'd show this off.

don't expect any sudden burst of content - and don't expect me to ditch UTAU content entirely either. might make an alt account when my new tournament idea is actually fleshed out in some form. stay tuned.
