so, you’re on the last train, drifting off to who-knows-where… "back to nowhere" is the soundtrack to that vibe. with a driving bassline, punchy jungle drums, and pads lush enough to wrap you in a sonic hug, this track’s all about getting lost in the groove (or maybe just lost).

a downtempo chugger inspired by growing up alongside the swamp in south-east naarm. this song to me is the soundtrack of coming home from a late night surrounded by friends watching the sun come up as the evening ends.

my release genres are all over the place, which can make it hard to build an audience, however, every track i make isn't being made with the intent to appeal to labels or to bite someone's sound with loops downloaded from perfectly curated sample packs on splice. every sound in this song (bar the gorgeous magpie sample) was created by myself painstakingly.

i appreciate any listen and for all those that see the vision in crafting your own sound in an increasingly oversaturated and reductionistic electronic landscape.
