First new track in a while for SoundCloud

This is a demo track for a brand new synth plugin by Plogue Art & Technologie from Montreal. This one is called OPS-7 and emulates a Yamaha DX7. Since I'm accustomed to use the YM2612, this was a nice upgrade.

This track was made for a Sega Genesis using Sonar X2 DAW, FMDrive and SPSG VSTs, Sonic 3 PCM samples for drums. A Roland TR-08 was used to overdubs a hi-hat. The sound was recorded with a mix of an GenMDM device and emulators for further mixing. Apart from some panning (mainly PSG), everything is stock. No reverb, compression, FX or EQ used.

This track started out as an experiment with drum machines, and now here it is in full glory. The way I see it: this could be a Title Screen music for a 16 bit game. <3 But a cute one ^^
