Seelen Records head, JANEIN, drops the deep and trippy Beskar that delivers on high quality sound design and deep end sonics. Another perfect pairing of Elyas & Anta bring the jack with Bipping, a funked up and rhythmic classic techno sound. Ket Robinson debuts his new alias, Rey Brennan to close out Vol. 8 as My Brain Is Mush balances fast paced, carefully crafted rhythmic structures perfectly.

Temporal Ascent is REXER’s newest EP, providing an unyielding exploration of the self. The music addresses the darker dimensions of human experience— concealed flaws, vulnerabilities, and inner struggles that define us despite our
attempts to hide them. Through this work, REXER encourages us to accept these shadows as fundamental to our identity, illustrating that personal growth involves understanding and embracing rather than erasing these aspects.

The EP's sound profoundly reflects this internal odyssey. It embodies the chaotic, unpredictable nature of transformation—where clarity and confusion exist side by side, and each progression feels unsure. The dynamic textures and changing rhythms capture the unease of facing one’s weaknesses, while
also conveying the quiet strength that emerges from embracing these imperfections.

Temporal Ascent transcends being merely a collection of songs; it serves as a deep commentary on the human experience. It delves into the challenge of reconciling with one’s history, the bravery required to confront the darkness within, and the resilience discovered in overcoming personal obstacles. This EP confronts discomfort openly, using it as a catalyst for transformation—
reminding us that every conclusion signals a new beginning.

Premiere: REXER - Chasing Weakness [WT006]

Our next premiere is a track titled 'Rangda' taken from Torgue's 'Barong' EP due to be released on Amsterdam based label Märked.

The foundation of 'Barong' EP was born in Indonesia, where Torgue travelled and fell in love with the land and culture. Being an admirer of mythology, he there decided to let three tracks interact with each other, through name and meaning. The battle between good and evil – Barong and Rangda – is expressed in The Holy Dance to represent the eternal battle between good and evil.

'Rangda is the soundtrack of Indonesian martial arts practitioners fighting off Rangda’s black magic. As it progresses, slowly but surely the big arena pad and organ’s emotions will open up and reveal a sense of triumph.'
