The latest installment of our free download series welcomes Adam Sellouk and YLM with their take on Post Malone’s ‘Hollywood Bleeding’. Hailing from Israel, Adam Sellouk first emerged in 2021 with a contribution to Steyoyoke’s Paradigm collection. Immediately recognized for his astral sound, Adam quickly caught the attention of world class DJ Miss Monique, who signed him to her Siona Records imprint for a two-track showcase later that same year. Melodic house and techno tastemakers Agents of Time, Innellea, Kevin de Vries and Mathame were the first to chime in with support, as subsequent releases via Eleatics, Purified and UPPERGROUND followed across the next two calendar years. Seemingly in constant motion ever since, 2024 has proved to be a breakout year for Adam, adding Afterlife, Stimulate and Tomorrowland to his release resume, as well as touring the world showcasing his impeccable taste and exquisite programming skills. Meanwhile, fellow countryman and Tale of Us favourite YLM arrives fresh off a contribution to ERRROR’s ‘WRRONG TRACKS’ collection from July. With past reworks of Empire Of The Sun, Skrillex, Fred again.. & Flowdan, Adam now teams up with YLM to put their magical production touch on Post Malone’s ‘Hollywood Bleeding’. As the title track on the band’s 2019 album, ‘Hollywood Bleeding’ would go on to rack up well over five hundred million streams on Spotify, while the LP would achieve a litany of successes, most notably winning best album at the American Music and Billboard Music Awards. As played by Argy, AVIRA and Tale Of Us; Sellouk and YLM’s elusive take on ‘Hollywood Bleeding’ became a much requested rework across the last calendar year, one which we’re now happy to offer as a free download. GHEIST are a Berlin-based production and live band, who’ve been conquering some of the city’s best known dancefloors one party at a time for the past three years.  They’re also regulars at one of Berlin’s landmark venues, Watergate, where they kickstarted the project, and since have experienced a meteoric rise, wowing audiences across the globe with their rich and emotive sound. Fusing progressive with house and techno textures, the German natives have forged a deep, melodic sound of their own, which is melancholic and euphoric in equal measure. 

The four-member band, who have played a number of clubs and festivals, have built a reputation as a versatile group, alternating between a full-on live performance and a hybrid DJ set. 

As every good live act, GHEIST’s prowess in the booth stems from their incredible studio productions, which have landed them on various imprints, including Sasha’s seminal Last Night On Earth and Solomun’s DIYNAMIC.

As a natural continuation of their artistic vision and sound aesthetics, GHEIST launched their own imprint, Radau Records, in April 2018. Radau, meaning “noise” in German, gives a more intimate feel to GHEIST’s delicate yet powerful sound, as every aspect of the release  – from the sound production to the artwork – is created by GHEIST themselves.

Just a few months after joining the People & Machines artist roster, GHEIST landed their debut release on DIYNAMIC, Arrival EP, and played their first gig at Solomun+Live at the sun-kissed Destino Ibiza in July 2019. With more exciting releases on the horizon and an increasingly busy touring schedule, it’s clear that we’ve yet to see what GHEIST are really capable of.
