A warm welcome along to episode 006 of That Disco Groove Radio Show. We kick off this weeks show with a small selection of tracks that we've come to love over the last few years from the likes of COEO, Tilman & Phonk D and Dan Shake.

The Bandcamp Beat features the super-talented DJ/producer and all-round musician, Never Dull, with one of the many tracks that he has exclusively available on the platform. A superb beefed up edit of the classic Love X Love from George Benson. We then head into the 8 recommended new releases from the disco & house genres. This includes a brand new release from @thezrecords with @jimpster and his incredible deep-house inspired remix of Dave Lee & The Sunburst Band's 'He Is'.

Label Focus features the fast-rising @superspicyrecords. It's hard to believe that the label only launched at the beginning of 2020 but under the guidance of @monsieurvanpratt they have already delivered a whole host of disco heaters since then. Selected tracks from the likes of Disco Feelings, J.B. Boogie and Boogietraxx. 

A special mention to @boogietraxxatx who we are excited to announce will join us as part of the next show's guest-mix in a fortnights time. Look out for that one!

Our vinyl exlusive takes us back to 2010 and the opening track from Kon & Amir's 'Off Track Vol. 3', a collection of lovingly curated rare ghetto disco and funk tracks, before we sign-off with an all out classic high from the Queen of Soul herself, Aretha Franklin.

The final hour or so will see The Disco Express label boss, Bustin' Loose and label resident producer/DJ, Pete Maxey taking over for a special split-set taking 8 tracks each. Exclusive to the Collective Groove Radio Show, you can expect to hear some of their own releases on The Disco Express label and beyond as well as some great material from fellow artists. Both halves of the mix are a showcase of energetic disco and disco-house blends that superbly compliment the deeper twist in parts.
