With additional production by the North Street West gang, Natasha delivers a synth driven banger, with high strings, a Nord worm lead and energetic drum patterns that would’ve been equally at home in the darker recesses of the legendary London clubs, Heaven or G.A.Y as well as today’s vibrant dancefloors. With distinct hints of Dead or Alive, Depeche Mode and Yazoo, this will rock your 80’s Hi-NRG universe. Born and raised in Edinburgh into a soul music-obsessed family, Natasha was introduced to rare disco, soul, funk and boogie from a young age. Spotted by the main influencers in the disco and house scene, Natasha quickly took up DJ residencies at well-known events such as Glitterbox, Suncebeat Festival Croatia, Southport Weekender, Soul Heaven and Ocean Beach Ibiza. Moving dancefloors with her eclectic collection of underground disco, she has also played at world-renowned clubs across the globe including Hï Ibiza, New York’s House of Yes, London’s iconic Printworks, Ministry of Sound, and Supernova Seattle. Matching her meteoric DJ’ing rise within clubland, her releases have gained interest by some of the scene’s biggest players, including Louie Vega (MAW), who reworked two of her tracks released on Nervous Records, as well as appearing on Glitterbox Recordings, Nervous Records, Tropical Disco Records, The Basement Discos and Midnight Riot to name but a few. “As a lover of all things Vamps, The Lost Boys is a stand out film for me. I remember my Auntie having the VHS when my sister and I were little. She put it on one day and I was hooked.  Give me 80s, vampires and a killer soundtrack and you have one happy Katt. When I composed Batt Danse, I could visualise a tribute to my beloved vampires, as well as paying tribute to the Danse Macabre. I wanted something with a creepy electronic edge, that made people move.  There’s a forthcoming video for ‘Batt Danse’ which I filmed with No Reel Productions – the whole team including Scott Kempik have insane animation skills. My friend Kevin helped to conceptualise the video and had an idea that an actual Lost Boy should be in it. Kevin has worked with the Lost Boys and helped make that connection. He put me in touch with my favourite Vampire, Dwayne “Billy Wirth”. I never in my wildest dreams thought such a project could happen, but here we are. Billy brought out his full Dwayne character for the role. You can hear his vampiric tones and passion as he steps back into his iconic role. The video will be out a few weeks after the release as an exclusive. Watch this space”.
