Kibosh makes a welcome return to Bombstrikes with two tracks that simply ooze with the funk. As always, the Aussie funk maestro has delivered the goods in his own inimitable style, keeping musicality high on the agenda whilst at the same time making things sound simple, which is no mean feat. First up 'Loopback' places horn stabs and vocals from Canadian legend Timothy Wisdom over funk guitar riffs and swinging bass grooves to pull the listener in, while the second track 'Fire' delivers a P-Funk-esque bass workout alongside elements of Jazz to devastating effect.
