Four years after their inaugural release, Italian imprint Entangled Visions gear up to issue '5 Doubts / 5 Occurs’  from Tokyo-based visionary producer Yosuke Tokunaga...Our pick from the album is ‘Do ubts‘. Mastered by Alberto Bertelli, the track kicks off with percussive wood knocks layered with slow-paced drum rhythms that grounds the piece in a steady, mesmerising groove. As the composition unfolds, obscure synth oscillations engulf listeners in a profound sense of catharsis, transporting them through arcane melodies that evoke the grandeur and mystique of long-forgotten civilizations.

2024 has been a big year for Geoff Kirkwood, better known as Man Power. With huge EPs released on labels like Rekids, Make A Dance, Hypercolour, Sound As, and Me Me Me, he’s been as prolific as ever. In addition, he was invited to deliver both the RA Podcast and the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, just two months apart.

Kirkwood has also launched his own venue, Are You Affiliated, in North Shields, where he’s hosted standout acts such as Caribou, Optimo, and Gerd Janson. On the DJ circuit, he’s been seen playing back-to-back sets alongside heavyweights like Skream, Special Request, La La, Daniel Avery, Ewan McVicar, Artwork, and Erol Alkan.

Globally, he’s returned to an intense touring schedule, gracing stages across Europe, the US, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. Highlights include playing at Berghain’s iconic Lab.Oratory, Hi Ibiza, and DJ Harvey’s Klymax club in Bali.

With a new FM radio residency, an upcoming nationwide UK tour, and an Ibiza residency soon to be announced, 2024 is shaping up to be a monumental year for Man Power.

Dreems explores the sounds that resonate with Diamond Bay. The show, much like his forthcoming album, is languid journey through ambient dimensions and intimate sonic reflections.

On the '1st Wave' we hear a few old favourites and a couple of new sonic paintings that hang on the metaphorical wall of the 'bay'. You might even hear some words in a distant tongue ~ known to a few as Oz-tralian.
