We would like to introduce you to a unique approach to mixing in this podcast series, where MXRC pushes the boundaries of sound and tempo. This time, we are showcasing a style where our Dj is using one single kick throughout the entire set, a kick that he created and mastered himself.

Let us introduce you MXRC in his own words

“I started learning mixing almost two years ago, and producing became part of my life about a year ago. My goal has always been to showcase my true sound through my tracks. If I had to describe my style in my sets, I’d say I love playing industrial tracks with hard kicks and dark vibes. The tempo I prefer is around 165–170 BPM, but I’m not afraid to go even faster, just like in this podcast which is around 185 BPM”

CSMR is a 27 year old DJ and producer based in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. His signature sound consists of dark, eerie atmospheres and dissonant melodies layered over heavy, industrial kicks and other distorted sounds, all at a fast tempo. All together, this creates an ominous experience that gets increasingly more relentless.
