A 2012 re-recording of a song written back in 2007. One of my favorites because of the variety of artists I was listening to at the time... I was able to pull a lot of things I liked from other artists and incorporate that into my style. It's cool looking back to see so clearly where some of my influences were coming from.

This will be refined but I wanted to share instead of leaving it in my iTunes to rot while we perfect it. 

This song is about self motivation, self discovery, internal struggle, and being true to who you really are. It's about being free in what you love.

FIRST PASS MIX!!!

This song is a bit of soul searching. Written about an ex; this song features heavy nautical and water metaphors to tell the story of a love (symbolized by the shore and land) that must be parted with for a greater love (the sea). Ultimately, it is a look at what happens when people in a relationship aren't on the same page and have to choose what they want. 

Watch out for that second verse ;)

This song is mostly just a therapeutic aggression releaser. Punchlines for days. Work out to this, rage quit your favorite game to this, or get the most kills on Dota to this - whatever your flavor this song has passion and aggression built into the lyrics, delivery, and music.

FIRST PASS MIX!!

This track is my ego on steroids. It's an alternative take on a party record - you don't have to be He-Man Master of the Universe to get a girl's attention - you just have to be honest with yourself and witty. Truth in this song's first lyrics "i'm a little inhibited and sort of limited in what I have to offer…" 

But the story goes that the singer gets the girl because he stays true to who he is and she likes that. And really, isn't that the kind of girl we all want to take home?
