This is a collaboration with my friend Slava (Mindex) from Russia.  When we were on tour in Europe in Nov I had one of the most incredible collaborative experiences of my life.  Arriving in Moscow, 40 hour journey to get there.  11 hour time difference.  Day 3 and 4 of my trip we spent from 9 PM - 8 AM 2 days in a row working on this track, then finishing it from other sides of the world.

Thank you to Lucidity Festival for having me a part of their amazing event in Santa Barbara, CA. It was a privilege to play a Sunday afternoon daytime set at the Nook Stage on the flawless Magnetik Sound Funktion 1 System. 

To everyone who came out and danced with us, thank you for the support and love. It was felt from on stage and this was one of my favorite sets I have ever played.

Lucid Temple (Live at Lucidity Festival)

Made with a recording of a cigar box riff I made in a van going to a festival. Noisy terrible recording with people talking in the background but its got a vibe I like, or I'm too lazy to rerecord it, not sure. One of the people talking is Chancha via Circuito so you could say that this track features him.

Toy Train

A heavy hand a poker face a group of heating suns
They all will come the their end though they don’t know when they don’t know when
A plaster cast of faces caught in frozen agony
Tarnishes the memory of what has been of what has been
Set upon a pedestal your image haunting me
Melting shapes into the frost of fading white you carve your name
Numbers and a group of letters meaningless to me
I memorize their shapes and pretend sounds I make will mean the same

A physical reaction to a lying memory
Implanted by a race of people always do they call to me
Twisting and contorting strain with all my might to see
Where could be they have gone but all I have is memory
Incantations carried into air they flow beyond
The borders that we cling to in our darkest times we carve our names
Into the snow fading white and difficult to see
But there and if you read aloud the sounds you make will mean the same will mean the same
