I'm Ready

A favourite thing of mine is to create simple, but funky, riffs and to sing my favourite old Blues tunes over them, this Wolf/Dixon track is one i've used a lot for these purposes, Here it gets a modal treatment, sounds plaintive and with a distinct African flavour to me... 

I've been meaning to to do a whole collection of reworked Howling' Wolf tunes, maybe this is where it starts...

Who's Been Talking

I recorded this Man cover, written by Deke Leonard, at the end of sessions for my new album 'Til I Hear You Talkin'.
I had the pleasure of playing The Mickey Jones Annual Bash in 2011 at the request of George Jones, Mickey's son. I worked up this arrangement to play that night, as a tribute to Mickey.

GHOSTDANCERS (named after the doomed North American Indian religious movement of the 1890's) was formed in 2000 in Sunderland, UK.

I am not a musician but music plays a very important role in my creative life! I am an artist/designer and music is my companion and my muse in the long hours I spend working in my studio! 
I am immensely impressed and grateful for all the talented and inspiring musicians whose work graces this Cloud, and I will always re-post sounds that I love (and will listen to again) - knowing that others will enjoy them!
I feel slightly embarrassed and quite humbled when I receive such graceful messages of thanks from artists whose work I have re-posted - after-all, I am the one who is so inspired by the discovery of your brilliant music!!!

Since my heart op in Jan2021, I have had to deal with taking quite a lot of meds which have interrupted my design work - that and moving to Germany in 2020 - and back in 2021 (due to Covid my business plans stalled!) - SO, slowly getting it together…. hang tight!😊
